INFRARED THERMOGRAPHY
Infrared thermography testing detects radiated thermal energies emitted from objects. With thermal imaging, the visible range of the wavelength spectrum is increased, allowing the examiner to view and measure radiated energy. Infrared cameras are non-contact devices which can produce single images or even videos. Any heat sensed by the instrument can be precisely quantified and measured, which allows the thermal performance to be monitored and problem areas to identified.
In the industrial/commercial environment, almost everything gets hotter or cooler before it fails, making infrared cameras extremely valuable diagnostic tools with many diverse applications. As industry strives to improve manufacturing efficiencies, manage energy, improve product quality, and enhance worker safety, new applications for infrared cameras continually emerge.
Our Certified IR thermographers can conduct scans on equipment to find potential problems in the early stages of breakdown or failure.
